Now a case of forcing Hindu, Buddhist and Christian teachers to resign has come to light. According to reports, so far 49 teachers have been forced to resign.

Revealed in press conference

According to The Daily Star report, Bangladesh Chhatra Oikya Parishad revealed this in a press conference held at Jatia Press Club. The organization's coordinator Sajib Sarkar said that religious and ethnic minorities have been victims of violence since the collapse of the Hasina-led government. Let us tell you that Bangladesh Chhatra Oikya Parishad is the student unit of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad.

Minority teachers being attacked

Sajeeb Sarkar said the violence included attacks on Hindus, looting, attacks on women, vandalism of temples, arson of homes and business establishments, and even murders. Minority teachers across the country have also faced physical harassment. This forced 49 teachers to resign till August 30. However, 19 teachers have been reinstated.

Attacks on Hindus in 48 districts

On August 5, Sheikh Hasina had to resign from the post of Prime Minister amid massive protests by students. More than 400 people lost their lives in the protests. After this, Hasina also left her country. Bangladesh ethnic Hindu Mohjot said that since August 5, Hindu families have faced violence and vandalism at 278 places in 48 districts of the country.

Muhammad Yunus' appeal does not seem to have any effect

After taking oath, Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government in Bangladesh, had appealed to stop violence against Hindus. He had said that he would maintain the constitution in the country. But it does not seem to have any effect.
