Taste Atlas, a well-known food and travel guide, has released yet another list of global culinary pleasures, this time focusing on the world's best bread. Five of the 50 world breads are Indian inventions.

Garlic Butter Naan had taken over the thirsty spot. We are not shocked in the least! Bread with the lip-smacking flavours of simple butter and powerful garlic is always a pleasure. Already planning to pair it with Dal Makhni? We are, too!

Basic naan was not left out, coming in eighth place on Taste Atlas' ranking.

The Amritsari Kulcha, with its rich and satisfying taste combination, comfortably grabbed the 26th spot. Roti, a simple everyday staple in many Indian families, followed and took the 27th spot.

Another popular Indian bread, the paratha, was also included on the list. It came in 29th place. Paratha is a morning staple in many regions of the country, loved for its texture and satisfying variety.

Roti Canai from Malaysia topped the list. Other international bread varieties included Lavash, Pita Breadk, Nan-e Shirmal, Focaaccia, and Baguette.
