According to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the Congress is "playing with fire" when it comes to trying to use the Hindu-Muslim divide for "electoral gains". Still, he claimed that Rahul Gandhi, the Congress MP, "has no fire".

"To seek political advantage, they are trying to sow discord between Muslims and Hindus. In an interview with PTI news agency, the Union Minister says that the Congress was attempting to incite conflict along religious lines.

"The Congress seeks to sabotage peace in society. The Muslim community is merely seen as a voting bloc by them. I propose to them that politics ought to be pursued for purposes other than establishing governments. Nation-building should be the goal of politics, he stated.

"Rahul Gandhi has no fire, but Congress is playing with fire."

Rajnath Singh went on to say, "The Congress wants to use the Hindu-Muslim card in order to create fear psychosis.

They don't face any difficulties. They always want to create a government by dividing people along religious, caste, and creed lines.

In addition, he attacked the party's proposal to impose an "inheritance tax" should it win power, claiming that it will precipitate a national recession.

It was implemented by Venezuela and Argentina, with terrible results. Investors will become less confident in India, according to Singh

Rajnath Singh expressed confidence in the outcome of the current Lok Sabha elections, predicting that the BJP will gain 370 seats and the National Democratic Alliance, led by the party, would surpass the 400-seat threshold.

He said that "these projections were made after detailed assessment of the ground situation and not made only for public consumption" .

"Our seats will increase in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, and we will get some seats in Tamil Nadu," declared the Union Minister. Kerala will also be the opening of our account. We're picking up a sizable number of seats in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh."

"We will increase our tally in Odisha, Jharkhand and Assam. We are sweeping Chhattisgarh," he stated.

Regarding the realisation of the BJP's election pledges, such as enforcing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and holding "One Nation, One Election," the Union Minister of Defence declared, "We always fulfil our commitments."

"We will never allow any question mark on our credibility and won't compromise on the country's unity and integrity. We implement whatever we say in our manifesto. We have to do whatever we say," Singh stated.
