"We were joking with him that we have done what we could, but you are healing yourself," Apollo Hospital neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri said. The level of progress we are witnessing surpasses our expectations. He is doing incredibly well now. His body, mind, and vital signs are all within normal ranges, and he is improving steadily."

Physicians found that Sadhguru had been putting his demanding schedule, which included Mahashivratri, above his serious headache for the previous four weeks. An MRI on March 15th revealed extensive brain hemorrhage. Nevertheless, Sadhguru declined to back out of his appointments, including his attendance at the India Today Conclave, which he did while sedated and under the influence of strong painkillers.

When Sadhguru was taken to the hospital earlier on March 17, it was found that he had a potentially fatal brain enlargement.
